of the transmission moving up in the pen, when you try to screw it back together.

Would you try the pen?

Enquiring minds want to know!!

Yeah but that still doesn't solve hating the Sierra! And I had high hopes for the Virage BP too!

Honestly, I am not in LOVE with any copier, either.
But I stock the ones that SELL!!
To each his own---but the sierra outsells all other pen designs by a mile (except the slimline, which sells by the score, while others sell by the pen)

I solved the problem and it's a very easy one to solve!

Simply pick up the uncut rod you were going to use on the blank and toss everything else in the garbage where it belongs and put another pen kit on the work bench.

Problem solved.

To tell the truth, Smitty, I suspect everyone will copy this---but I believe mine will be the first that has made it to "market". We'll see.

Actually, I thought the conversation might go along the lines of "all the things people have done to overcome the problem" and I might get some new ideas.

The way it went, it was definitely looking like I planned to tell you about the pen----I'm FINE with that, but it belongs here and Jeff was kind enough to move it for me.
