Didn't make the top today because the heavy snow bends the alders into the trail. Got my butt kicked getting a bit past the meadow, feel like I was in a boxing ring! Here is a pic from the top I took a couple of days ago. Weather stunk but you get an idea how high up the trail goes. That's not a marsh at the bottom of the hill its a full grown spruce forest the little tiny line through the trees is the road in to our place. This is a bit over 5000 feet above the river bed. It takes about 20 minutes of almost continuous climbing to reach the top on the sled.
