.......well sorta. I saw the sled Spanx made and modeled mine after his, good idea I thought! I tested it out and it's a winner for me and cost about nothing to make. I made a brass pivot for the pin in the compass to turn on so it will stay straight and no wear to wollow out the hole. I put a pointer ( not pictured) off to the side to mark 90° so I should be good to go! Be well.......Jan

Good idea, you need some way to stop it from going into the blade, and slicing what ever you use for a fence. I have a block on top of the fence that hits the blade guard and stops the forward motion, i allow it to go about 1/4" into the wood fence. My fence and sled is real ugly but it does the job. I should make a new one. Good luck, Carl
 
you could attach a thin scrap piece of waste wood to the face of the miter gage to let the blade cut all the way through the material your cutting without hitting the miter gage as well.
