Suggestions?

A couple of months back I found a twin headboard near my dumpster. I have made a couple of nice things from the free wood! all maple

However, I want to cut these for bottle stoppers. Any suggestions on where to cut them? I have 5 so I can do a couple of different things with them

Let your eye be the judge. If you are determined to use them. I do not see bottle stoppers there.

I would probably only use the center part for a bottle stopper. You can certainly make stoppers from the finial ends, but I prefer a flattish or rounded top to my stoppers so you can painlessly tap them into a bottle.

The finial ends would be good for ornaments or mini bird houses,

don't know what holidays you celebrate, but how about snow people or trees
