Stylish Ball Twist Pen in white and pink

Evening all, just finished a pen for a friend's birthday. I decided I would give the Stylish Ball Twist Pen from Axminster a go. To turn it I got a few blanks from ukpenkits site. Anyway enough blabbering on, picture time....

That looks like a translucent pink swirled in the white resin. Cool effect. How was it to turn for you?

Yea it was ok to turn when I eventually got it round, it chipped a little beforehand. The skew made life much easier nearer the end. The main pain in the ass was that there were no bushings available so I have to make them in work today.

My heritage is Poland. I wonder what pen they would favor?? Am I opening a can of worms here?
