Cav's right. You can get BLO at Home Depot, but it's sold by the gallon (about $20) and you'll need only four ounces or so through the rest of the year no matter how many pens you finish. BLO doesn't last forever, and disposing of it just adds to the envirnomental crisis that threatens my grandchildren's welfare.

So here's what I propose. I've got more BLO than I can use. Send me $20.00 and I'll send you four ounces in a nice new plastic bottle with a handy spout. Sure, you'll get a lot less BLO this way, but no less than what you will actually use AND I'll be relieving you of the disposal problem. Not only does my proposal eliminate the inconvenience of your taking all that spoiled BLO to the dump at the end of the year, but it will ease your conscience immeasurably.

Unless you have a desire to own a gallon of the stuff, you can also get boiled linseed oil at most art supply stores and hobby shops. You pay a lot higher price per ounce, but you don't end up with a thick, gooey mess in 12 months. My last pint cost about $6. It will last me at least 6 months and probably a year.

I was going to buy each of you something real nice with the profits, too.:D
