I've been doing a lot of razors lately, but most are pretty conventional. Every once in awhile I like to break out of my normal routine and make something a bit different. Here's one I did that is about 1 1/2 inch longer than the normal length. I used a gold plated kit from William WoodWrite in Canada and the blank was one of Dawn's Burnt Copper Polyresins from Exotic Blanks.

That is a super nice look.
Did you use the head and cap only style kit or the head and cap with an extended pen tube? If memory serves me correctly it requires a specific drill bit - Perhaps a "J" - I will have to look at the bit I use to be sure.
I am always trying to make the "kits" a little different myself.
I used the same idea with a handful of 50 Cal bullet pens a few days ago.
They are already long with the large shell - Adding just over an additional 2 inches and giving them some unique shapes, beads, coves and burn ins they came out ok.
