Only time I put my head under the stove hood is when I change the light bulb, which seems to be about every 3 months or so..... plus we have a gas stove, so I try to keep from getting too close to the flames... even with a skillet or pot sitting on the burner, I've managed to remove most of the hair off my wrists.
