Well, I was about to buy some materials to turn myself a pen that I'd been wanting--teal kirinite, black Ti jr. gent ii--when I remembered, I already turned this pen. Had it up for sale in my etsy shop for a couple months. On ebay, too. No takers. So I decided to make it my own. Inked it up with a red Iroshizuku ink and immediately put it to work editing a legal brief I am filing tomorrow.

Thanks. The kirinite is a nice material. They do a good job of making sure the pearl is well mixed and shimmers from all angles. (I will say that I've had decidedly less good results with their "ice" series. The "pearl" series is great, though.) Turns easily and shines up well. Don't know where they make the stuff, but they are headquartered outside Chicago near where I grew up, which I also like.
