Cool! I made two pair for my niece and nephew out of oak stair edging, sort of like large half round. Made the steps out of oak plywood with multiple holes in the uprights so that they could be adjusted higher as the kids grow. Fun project. Found that even at my age I can still easily walk on stilts.

Yes, it has been about 60 years since I have been on stilts but found out that this pair will with stand 225+ lbs.

I used a small inverter welder form Harbor Freight.

They're really cool and brings back great and fun memories when I was a kid. But yours are great looking and well made stilts. Great job!

Nice. I had a student make a pair of stilts in shop class a few years ago. He was nowhere near as good at walking on them as she is.
