I'm no graphic design expert here, but a couple of things catch my eye
(not in the best way) but they're all fixable. (and easy)
The REC .. the E looks too thin and possibly the kerning could be
a little bit smaller. Not sure what program you're using, but most graphics
programs will allow you to change that. The E might be stretched a bit in
width to look more even.
On Turnings (like this font better, BTW.. easier to read) The T is fine being
taller than the rest, but perhaps not quite this much. But it looks about right
against the REC (at least to my eye it does) so perhaps making the rest of
the word slightly larger?
The pen and flourish look good.

LOL! To me, the R and the E look fine, but the C looks a little fat.

I wonder if the general public will recognize the pen? Maybe add the split in the quill?

Giving it as much look as anyong normally would, it looks good. Clean and classy.

That's the watermark for the person making the logo for me. But I really could go for a glass of wine about now. It's 5oclock somewhere...

I like it. Just one thing that stikes me. The text is very nice - in a fancy font, but the FP liiks like a crude drawing - incongruous.
I would recomend increase the size of "urnings" and replace the FP pic with something finer

Obviously you cant use it, but look at the FP on the IAP 8th anniversary logo. Something along those lines is what I mean by "Finer"
