As the topic says, I am still alive and around, but not as round as I once was. I have been in and out of the hospital for the past several months, with heart problems, and life long weight problems. Due to my weight problems, my heart got out of rythem without my knowledge, that let me to being tired all the time and not able to get around, so I went to my doctor who sent me a heart specialist who got me back on the right track with my health. I have been out of the shop for the whole winter.

I have been in the shop for a little while, turning a few bowls. Now I am back in the hospital again, this time my kidneys almost shut down. They are keeping me a few days to pump fluids in me to recharge my kidneys. The doc said I can get back in the shop after a few days of rest.

In the past I have made some deals or got in a pen swap with some of you, and for some reason or another did not come through on my end, so if you are one that I owe, please let me know so that I can make it right. It may take me a little while, but I will make it right.

I have been dealing with health problems so long, I got buried up in myself and life in general. Not making excuses, just telling the truth.

I have lost 156 pounds, and feel a lot better. PLEASE keep me in your prayers.
Thanks for reading,
Keith

Hi Keith, Glad you are doing ok. I'll put you in my prayers that you can overcome the kidney problem as you have the heart problem.

Congratulations on the weight loss, Keith. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better & we will keep you in our prayers as you battle the kidney issues.

I can understand your pain, and frustration, health issues can be most draining, fighting the fight drains even the most powerful batteries so, hang in there mate, while you can still seat at the computer and gives an update, is a great sign so, keep it up, and get well, soon...!

Cheers
George

Sorry to hear about you health problems been there my self. Congrats on you with loss and listen to and work with you Doctor. My thoughts and prayer are with you for your continued recovery.

Keith is a personal friend of mine and I can tell everyone on this forum he is a fine man. He has always been there when I needed a friend to talk to. He has called to check on my family many times with all that has gone on the last year with sickness and death. I am proud of him he looks so much better and has more spunk now that he has lost the weight. I know it has been a struggle and I am proud of him. Keep up the good work KEITH. I continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I can relate to you, Keith. I went into the hospital for a heart attack and they put a stint in and when it was done, my body rejected removal of the oxygen. They put me in a coma until they could get me stabilized and I experienced BAD complications from the drug including kidney failure, lung collapsing, pneumonia, etc... I woke up 5 weeks later and had lost 100 lbs. It's not a weight loss program I recommend. I was so surprised from the muscle I had lost. I get around with a walker but I'm getting better and it's a long road. God Bless and our prayers are with you.
