Hi,
sometimes I have to show something new too.
Finally, I can legally sell items made of precious metals.
Two ebonite feathers with sterling silver overlay.
Regards Greg

Beautiful piece of work! Does it require a license to sell precious metals in Poland?
It's true. In Poland, if you want to manufacture items from silver weighing more than 5 grams and gold weighing more than 1 gram, you must have a special mark that you mark such products with. Mostly your initials.

Here (the US) gold and silver items must be stamped with karat mark or silver content.

Not necessarily true. A content stamp is meaningless without a hallmark stamp since content stamps are a dime-a-dozen.
In Poland, there is a special (state) office that examines the content of precious metals in the alloy and nails the only real state mark - eg 925. Of course, it can be counterfeited - but this is a crime.
