Thanks for the compliments.

The finish is just some sanding dealer then micro mesh to 12000 and then several coats of Mylands. I have done a lot of BLO/CA pens and I seem to be really good at getting the milky look down perfectly <G>. This gives a prety good shine and lets the wood feel come through.

NOw I need to work on the photography. That's just on the scanner bed.

If my scanner worked that good I wouldn't even use a camera. Mine works good on the slimlines but anything bigger and it looks like, well you know. [:D]

Great Looking pen. I just ordered my first few Statesman pens from CSUSA and I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THEM! I'm so excited and I get even more excited every time I see someone with another turned Statesman.
