Statesman feathered fountain pen

Hi all I have been wanting to make one of the Statesman fountain pen in rhodium for a long time now and decided to give it an edge so I went with the feathered look.
The brass tubes were airbrushed with acrylic water colour, this time I wanted to give a darker blue base but with the same style of feathers as I used on the Majestic, I also want to tie in some gold tinsel and silver tinsel to compliment the gold and the rhodium plating.

I would like to here your views guys..

Merv, I love it! But then again, I've never seen one of your feather pens I didn't like. Nice work. I like your use of colored backgrounds.
