State quarters inexpensive source

Does anyone know where I can find a cheap source of state quarters. They can be replicas and/or painted. I have an idea to go with my state tree pen project here. I want to use them in the pen boxes.

I believe the banks have them for a quarter each. :biggrin::biggrin:

Seriously, I haven't seen anything like a replica advertised. I was thinking about someone who makes those bottle cap style buttons could possbily reproduce it as a print for a bottle cap, but the last bunch I bought were more than a quarter each.

What about a decal and copy the quarter?

Had not thought of a decal. I wonder if it could be laser engraved instead. I will have to contact some people and see. I wonder if using the state seal would look better then the state quarter. Hmmm now I have some thinking to do!

I think the quarters are a better idea. People know the quarters. State seals are not as well known.
