Have an order for 11 of the lazerlinz inlays with the Stars & Stripes. (7mm) Got them today. Found out in 45 seconds Iam not putting in all those stars. There is a better way? Sheetrock mud, white glue any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

I have use epoxy glue mixed with white paint latex or enamel. I have best luck with the small bottle of Testors white enamel model paint. then I use a tooth pick to put in the holes. Small batches as it is tedious. Make sure it is packed in there. Good luck

I have had one for about three years and don't want to attack it. A when I bought it the guy at Woodcraft told me that one customer used wood putty to fill in the stars and it looked good.

Good Luck, don't forget to show us some pictures when you are done.

Use Spackle and let it dry for 20 minutes and you should be good to go.
Spread the Spackle on a piece of wood to absorb some of the moisture before you put it into the star openings.
Push the Spackle into the openings until it squeeze out on the inside of he barrel, let it dry then push a brass tube into the barrel to clean the inside. It should not take more than a couple of minutes to do one barrel.

Use thick white Spackle and not the one that is light or pink.

I was overwhelmed at my first one too. Once I got the hang of it, I actually enjoyed that step. It only takes about 10 minutes.
