This is the first time I've tried this kind of project. I found the face place for my lathe, screwed a piece of plywood to it and then epoxied a 2x2 block of the same kind of wood I used for Kal-eggoscope I made. I sanded from 150 to 12000 mm and put on 12 coats of WTF. I use my parting tool to cut it off I cut a concave base so it would set flat. This was a fun little project and if I do say so myself it came out nice. As always any and all comments are welcome. As with the Kal-eggoscope I'm not sure what kind of wood it is.
