Stainless steel ring

So I made this 316 ss ring and my girlfriend asked if I could put a piece of wood or a stone that we found while grubbing for stones. Would anyone have an idea of what glue I could use? Sorry for the cell phone pic. It will be polished more also.

I would think epoxy would give the strongest bond.

I gave epoxy a try with a piece of a pen blank, seemed to hold well. Will have to see how it does over time.
