Staghorn Sumac ( Rhus typhina )

This Sumac blank was among a number of blanks kindly sent to me by a gentleman member who lives in Ohio.
The kit is a chrome Leveche from Beaufort Ink in the UK.

Neat, though I must admit I have always looked at that as an invasive brush type weed and never though about letting it grow big enough to turn.

Nicely done. Sumac is one of those woods that fluoresces under UV light. You'll look spiffy when the disco opens again.
