Dave, the HF venturi pump goes on sale regularly for about $10. You can get a gauge online for $6 plus shipping (or you can go to Advance Auto Parts and pay $26 like I did [:(!]). I get my vavle stems (the threaded truck type) from a tire store. The rest you should be able to figure out.

I used all brass fittings in mine instead of the valve stems. I planned on using acetone/plexi for stabilization, and was worried about the acetone eating the valve stem. If that's not a concern, though, they look like they'd be a lot easier and cheaper.

The HF venturi pump is the one I use as well, I think it was $16 normal price. It works very well.

Well then, you learn something new every day! All I'd seen were the rubber ones, but you can bet I'll be investigating them promptly for my system.

I just bought my accs (fittings, tube, valve, etc) from Home Depot. Go to the section where they sell tubings for gas lines. I am using a flexible hose rated for gasoline.

I got lucky one day and found a $10.00 Gast vacuum pump at the flea market [:D]...it normally is used for AC maintenance.

BTW, I am using flexi-actone mix also.
