So,
What is the best way to care for pens that have been turned out of stabilized pen blanks? They get dull very fast once folks start using them regularly.

Thanks
Julie

Hi Julie,

Well, I still do a CA finish, even on my stabilized blanks. Then after assembling the pen I put on a coat of Rennaissance Wax. But the plain fact of the matter is that whatever finish you use, if the pen is USED and not just looked at, the finish will wear. Even CA. I like the CA because it lasts longer than most other options, but it will still wear. The best thing to do would be to treat it with the Rennaissance Wax once a week or so to preserve the CA finish. Does this help?

Scott.
