Celtic knots are my favorite blanks to make. I bought a blade with a .072 kerf, and wanted to see how that thickness looks in a knot. I'm quite happy with it. The woods are spalted maple and holly. The knot was cut at 55° using the 1,3,2,4 cut sequence. The pen is a Super Button Click. Comments and critiques welcome.

Is that a 7-1/4" blade? Nice work on the pen. Good combination of materials.

Ken, How did you choose the 0.072" blade thickness? Was it based on the thickness of your inlay materials?

Great looking pen by the way. I really like the 55 degree knot.

No, 4 inch to fit my Byrnes table saw, sourced believe it or not, at Harbor Freight , for all of 5 bucks.
Just was at HF Fri. picked up a rolling mechanics stool. I need to remove the body side moldings off my Silverado pickup because they are basically falling off and all discolored from sun light. Being I can not kneel any more I am hoping sitting on this stool will help. :) I would have replaced but they are so darn expensive and you would have to get them painted so hopefully the underside is not too bad and just remove. Will have to see how this project goes. Getting all the adhesive from the doublesided tape will be the challenge.
