Finally got around to making another pen.Been making bowls n stuff with the little shop time I got.This one is from a pattern St Johns 2.pdf

I deviated from the pattern with the backround threads. I did a spiral with pale yellow and orange.CA topcoat.

Thanks fellas, glad you like it. Don't know what I'm gonna do with the other blank. Can't see pressing 2 of the same thing.

Wow, that's nice! And what Mal said... skill and patience. How long does it take to wrap a barrel that size?
Probably a couple weeks,I don't work diligently at it.Can only handle staring through the magnifier a couple hours at a time.

Maybe when I get some of that skill and patience I can speed up a time consuming process.
