Square bowl

Cherry, sanded to 600 grit, couple coats of shellac-based sanding sealer, followed by carnauba wax.

Overall dimensions are 4x4x1". Generally pleased, but I think I would try to make the wings a bit thicker the next time.

Nice looking piece of Cherry! The thing about these is if you forget it isn't round, it WILL remind you. DOH!

Wonderful bowl! Like the square shape and with a round bowl inside, unique and interesting. The wings are like the handles of the bowl. The cherry is really pretty with the finish the grain really pop. Great job!
