I'm continuing to play with inlaid polymer clay. Here's today's result.

A little more detail...
The spiral trench was cut using a cutting jig I 3d printed.

Cut strips of green polymer clay, dunked them in black acrylic paint and twisted into spirals before packing the spiral trench.
(I'd give myself a B+ on this... I'm still looking to improve the end result by making a more interesting black and green pattern.)

Baked at 250 for 30 minutes.
Turning this is fun! The green pops out and polishes very nicely.

Nice experimentation. Why not employ the mokume gane clay technique and forego the acrylic paint?
