Spinning Top Box

In the latest issue of Woodturning they had a project to make a lidded box with a spinning top as a lid. I came up with my own variant on that out of Maple and Padauk. Finish is Shellac and Lacquer.

Yep, you can even turn the box upside down and the foot is concave so the spinning top will stay in that area.
