Here is a pen I finished this weekend. I made it from vintage acetate, transparent acrylic, titanium, and argentium silver. I built the pen around a Pelikan 800 nib, and due to its incompatibility with converters, I made an integrated syringe fill mechanism. The barrel has 6 small slots cut in it to allow you to monitor the ink level. I made the spider clip from argentium silver. The pen has a diameter of about 1/2” at the cap threads, which are triple start, and an overall length of 5” when capped.

I like everything about it - color, shape, spider. Now if only they made that material with red bits to give it a Spider-Man look.

Thanks! My gf said the same. If I had been thinking ahead, I would have used this material

If had the pen, my wife would take a hammer to it! Especially if I had it in my chest pocket! o_O

Love it!

Really admire the craftsmanship in that pen.

I am a little concerned the 6 slots don’t weaken it too much near the nib? I had assumed lengthwise small slots not diametrical until checked the photos but incredible work.! Wife would hate it though due to the clip sadly.
