Progressing and experimenting some more with my "glueless" approach.
The blank is maple burl cooked with a bit of magic spicy sauce (not my doing), liquid diamond resin with mica sauce, finishing with GluBoost.
C&C welcome.

Looks gorgeous Fred. I like the band placement.
What is the "glueless" approach?
Thanks, Darrin!
The "glueless approach" name comes from the idea of pouring resin in a drilled wood blank and letting it cure in place to create the sleeve that will line the inside of the pen. Some more details from a previous post are here. Basically, the glue is used for the finish, no parts get glued together before that.

Ahh...now I see. That is very cool idea Fred. I use the sleeving method myself, but may give this a shot.
