One of my daughters works at Michigan State Univ. She's a counselor there and also supervises 4 interns. With the recent tragic shooting at MSU, she's been doing a LOT of time managing both sides of her job - in addition to the wife, mom, extended family thing. She came to me and said she'd like to recognize her interns and also have a gift to "send them out into the world".
"Could you do some pens in green and white?' "Sure - how many?" "Four"
So - I got out my casting stuff and the pic is what evolved. Color rendition in the pic is off a little - they came out just as I had hoped.
Already passed one along but the total "order" was 2 Vertex's, 1 Manhattan and 1 Pioneer click from Smitty's Pen Works. The blanks were cast from Alumalite and tinted with Castin' Craft Opaque pigments.
