Spalted xcut pecan on Vertex..

Here is a Vertex satin rollerball on spalted pecan. This is the first pen I got a good CA finish on.
15 coats of CA sanded to 12000 between every 3rd coat.
Im still working on my photography, so the pics dont do it justice. They were taken in natural light.
Im proud of this one. I think this is about my 15th pen.

That's a good looking pen. That's a lot of work on the finish, but it looks like it was was well worth it.

I was hoping the mind blowing pen would keep the eyes on the wood, but I knew better. :redface:
