spalted something

This is a black chrome carbara made with some spalted wood i found at a brush pile on the way home from work. Picked up acuple of logs as some junk wood to try turning bowls. Thought maybe a pen might turn out ok. Actually have more spaelting on some other pieces. May turn out to be pen wood instaed of bowl wood after all.

Gota love that free wood. And you never know what it will look like till you turn it.
