I was given the pen kit to make something special for the BoyScout Silent Auction this past weekend. The pen is a Rhodium/Blank Titanium Rollerball. The spalted maple came for the trash pile of a close friend. He turns bowls and I was able to salvage the blank from the corners he cut off.

10 coats of CA Thick glue were applied due to the small checks and pits in the wood. 6 coats of CA Thin glue were applied to fill any small divets. Sanded 1500-12000 with 2 coats of plastic polish. Reinisance wax was applied last and buffed. Comments welcome.
