Offered are full penetration spalt magnolia and oak blanks. All are 3/4" square x 5 1/4". All have been dried as much as possible and vacuum stabilized with min wax hardener.
Lot f are nicely figured blanks with some spalt. Most of the color contrast is from white rot that has been successfully hardened. #'s 11 and 12 in this lot are off angle cuts.
Concerning the images - I use a photo scanner instead of a camera for these images. I have been unable to get a quality scan of end grain that shows the level of spalt and accurate color. So all end grain images have been lightened to show the level of spalt rather than the actual color. The scans of full length do show accurate color. For the length scans, the blanks were rotated 90 degrees so you have 2 views of each.
