It's a nice looking bowl. It may just be the photos, but it looks like it thickens up a bit as you get nearer the bottom... IMHO, keeping the walls even makes the bark rim more symmetrical which improves the look of the edge.
 
My car broke down between Tullahoma and Lynchburg, once. Nicest people in the entire world. They saw to our every need.

NOW, I think I'm going back to Tullahoma, shoot out my tire so I can look you up and get you to show me how to turn a bowl! Your's is a MASTERPIECE, mine suck!

Very nice bowl! I love the edges!

Nice bowl Louis, that's a real nice piece of wood, and you did a nice job with it, I wish mine had the symmetry of yours, I always seem to go too much for depth and not so much for the proportions, also my feets is too big. :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
