NICE -- Love spalted wood....

What friction polish do you use? I usually stick to polyurethane, takes a couple of extra days, but last a long time and bowls are food safe and usable as salad bowls.

Equal parts of Shellac/BLO/DeNatured Alchohol.

Very nice bowl Jon. And yes, they will dry faster, and split quicker. Patience...

They have been sitting in bags with curls for a good 2 months. I emptied the curls and waxed the outside ends and put them back in the bags without the curls.
