Continue trying to improve this site, Jeff has recently posted a message on the Home page (which I think should be a sticky on all forums because some people do not go to the Home Page) which has to do with New Members ( which includes experinced pen makers and newbies). In it he has mentioned an increase in the numbers of new members joining. Within the message is also a few questions that hopefully each person will answer. They are well stated and interesting to the point I am sure many here would be facinated to read what you all have to say.
I would truely hope within these new members is some experinced pen turners and or turners in general. I am hoping new talent is coming aboard to take us down some uncharted territory. I know the Newbies will hopefully join in and learn and grow from using the many aspects and forums on this site. One very helpful part of this site is the Library and also the search feature. It will help answer the many questions you will have in better detail.
Welcome aboard and take a few minutes to let us all know why you joined and what do you hope to get from joining this site and any other tidbits you want to share. Don't be shy. If you took the time to join then help us help you and also help us. I feel we as a pen making site have only scratched the surface of the art of pen making. I think there is still plenty more to learn and to develop. That new design or new technique is just around the corner and maybe you as a New Member holds the key. So share with us all and take us there.
See you all on the site
