Long story short:
We own a boat storage property that also has light industrial commercial rentals available. In other words we got space and lots of it. 2 years ago I moved my wood shop/maintenance area and it was a LOT of work. I did this to make it easier to clean up and clear out what had been the main part of the entire property, a boat repair shop. I could rent that space for a LOT more money than the unit I moved into. Unfortunately the repair shop was the main business for the property and I realized a couple days ago that the electricity for half the property is tied into the shop. Separating the shop into it's own meter would be crazy expensive and we cannot afford it right now. So, If I want to have another decent sized shop space available for rent I have to move my shop BACK into the unit it came from. Where I moved it is separately metered. Yep it took me two years to realize I should not have moved my workshop.
It was a giant PIA too. Good thing I own a fork lift
