Baron fountain pen with a Pompelian Purple Lava Lamp blank from Exotic Blanks

Purple is one of those colors that is hard to photograph but yours looks good. Did you have to back paint the blank at all and if so what color??

Thank you! The light was great outside this morning.

I didn't paint the blank or the tubes at all. I've been staying away from blanks that are that translucent
