Had a few days off this past week and wanted to get some pen made using the Italian resins to show off at the Central Texas meeting Saturday. Brought some of the blanks along to sell and wanted members to see what they liked like when they were turned. Even I was surprised at how some turned out after reverse painting some of the blanks.
First is a Shimmering Caramel blank painted brown. Couldn't believe the nice brown swirls that came through.
Second is a Cream blank painted purple. This one surprised me the most when finished. Beautiful purple color with crystal like chips in it.
Third is a Mohair blank painted red. Liked this one more than I thought I would.
Fourth is a Cirrus blank painted blue. Okay, nothing exciting.
Fifth is a Emerald Green blank painted green. Not bad either.
I'll list a few more on another posting. "MORE PENS FROM CENTRAL TEXAS MEETING"
Thanks for looking, Keith "mrburls"
