I wont mention any names but I contacted a friend from another forum that has nothing to do with turning but living back closer to the way our ancestors did.
Last year I purchased a couple of pens from him for Christmas gifts.
This year Just a week ago I looked his name up and asked him what kind of finish did he use on the pens I purchased.

He told me CA. I kind of figured that.
Then he asked for my snail mail address then told me he would send me a DVD on pen turning.
When I got the box. I thought man that is kind of large for a DVD box. To my suprise it was full of pen blanks, many I had nevered tried yet.

So you know who you are. Again I say Thanks

So it showed me that not only will those that are on this website are helpful but generous too
