Those are some really nice pens!! Where do you get the soapstone (if you don't mind me asking)? It's a very unique product!

It comes direct from a contact in Kenya. In the village where they take it from the hole in the ground, I have them saw it into standard blank sizes. There is a lot of variety in colours, and I never know exactly what will turn up from them. I have had 100 pieces so far
That's just a natural finish. Sanded down to 12,000 micromesh and then a final polish with plastic polish. No need for any coating as a finish.

I haven't weighed one.
But they are hardly heavier than wooden ones. Just a little, but not really noticeable.

Absolutely gorgeous and I love the color variations. I too would be interested in the weight of the finished product.

That is outstanding soapstone. All we have around here is just gray with an occasional fleck of lighter gray. Yours is beautiful! Your pens are finished out spot on, too. Great work and congratulations.
