I feel a little sheepish posting these here, but then I am still a learner.

These pens are all finished with 8 coats of CA and were sanded to 1800 grit.

There are blanks from Pinelumber(Dennis), Slabs and Boards(Scott), Robutation(George) and some of my locals. Pink Ivory and Tambooti are from Woodturningz(Ryan).

Kits are Slimline and Streamline.

You have been a Busy Lad!
I appreciate that it is hard with such a large number of Pens, but I like to know what timber has been used on what Pen.
It is one way for me to absorb some knowledge.

Hi Bob,

Geezz mate, I knew that you got into pens but, you are getting addicted, huh...???:wink::biggrin:

I recognise many of my woods in that lot, particularly those Olive blanks. The pics aren't too bad but on the pic #4, the light was just right and the clarity and sharpness in impressive, the finish looks flawless, I like it...!

I just wonder, where in the heck are you going to find some wood to do the next batch...???:eek::):)

Hello from the U.K.

Looking good Bob, some nice work here and a good choice of materials.

What finish are you using?

I've not been turning long and I'm using a P.A./crystal polish/car polish finish (after all the grits) and it seems to be working fine.

I'm also the same about timbers and like to know what has been used, for reference sake, so if you do get a chance to enlighten us....:wink:

Hi Martin, The finish is 8 coats of CA (Super Glue) then buffed.

Wow! That's lots of beautiful pens, great variety of lovely woods. They go well with the kits and the finish is beautiful as well. You've been busy, quite a production. Awesome work as always Bob.
