Just before leaving on vacation, Sara asked me to build a table for the entryway into our home. Here is the result. It is primarily red oak with wenge accents. The drawers were a three step gluing process, and the table top was glued up in several steps as well. Tapered legs finish it off.
What I like about wenge is that I don't have to do any funny mitered angles to hide end grain - it is so dark you can't really see it.
Table is 44" long, 16" deep and 33 inches tall.
