When I posted my last segmented pen jskeen made some much appreciated comments about the form of the pen. I realized that with the focus on the segmenting I was loosing sight of the fundamentals that make up a nice pen, namely fit, form and finish. I turned a couple of Jr's and tried to focus on those basics, especially the form.

Jr. Gent in Wild Olive from South Africa
Jr. Gent in Silky Oak from South Africa
Jr. Statesman in Leopardwood
Elegant Beauty in Jarrah

Your comments/critiques are appreciated. Thanks for looking.

I think you found that "sweet spot" you were looking for. Great job on all 4, but I like the oak best, no specific reason, it just seems to look just right.

It is visible in the first pic of the first pen that the fit at the tailcap is very precise, but the second photo shows a clear example of a photographic effect that sometimes makes pens look overturned. I wish one of the photo guru's would check that out and explain what causes it and how to eliminate it.

All 4 pens are beautiful! I tried to pick a favorite, and couldn't. Sure glad I didn't see them at a craft show!.......unless, of course, you pass out credit applications, as well! Great work!
