Just adding to the new 'small turnings' forum.
G'Day Alan. These were all about 3" top to bottom, For a family Thanksgiving gathering about 10 years ago I turned 25 of these and hung them on a small table top Christmas Tree (24") and everyone was able to pick one out as a gift. I'll try to locate my notes; I may be able to find the timber of the 3'rd one. And yes, the shell is a Sea Urchin. There are instructions/tutorials on these - quite unique and a fun project - not hard at all. They are lovely wee things, Mark.
I assume that they are solely ornamental, or what?
What is the timber 3rd down, please?
Is that other one an actual shell?
I like them all.
Alan
That was a weekend with many distractions.I remembered seeing those in your shop when we all had a gathering there. But other conversations got me distracted. They are really small ones, and very nice.
I like this new forum. Thanks Jeff!
Indeed it was. A few Highs, and one low. That was a weekend with many distractions.![]()
