I don't do many pens in acrylic but I had a few laying around and "wood turningz" sent me a couple freebies, so I sharpened a skew and had a go at them. I do have to say that I like not having to fight with a finish.
First up is a tortise shell "euro rod" that I got from craft supplies a few years ago, thought it would pair nicely with a chrome elegant beauty sierria
Molten metal on a satin copper cigar
Todays acheivments in acrylic
molten metal/satin copper cigar, blue copper/ satin copper cigar, purple,yellow/satin chrome cigar, tortise shell elegant beauty chrome/satin chrome sierria
All where sanded with micro mesh then buffed with McGuires wart and blemish remover
