Forgot about this one until a couple of minutes ago.

We're getting ready to head to town. She went inside to change and came to the garage all excited for some-odd reason. I didn't understand what the fuss was about. She went to my box of completed work and grabbed my Snakewood pencil and held up her purse.

"Look how well it matches!"

I seriously need to start hiding completed work from her.

Besides, a gold pencil would match better.

Beautiful pen, beautiful purse, happy wife. Gold would have been the better choise of finishes to match the purse. I understand you wanted to show how well the two matched, but, next time add another photo of the pen itself against a plain background, so we can focus on the pen as well. Happy wife, happy life !! This was one I made just to see how the Snakewood would look when turned. If I intended for her to take it I'd have made one from a gold kit. Might just do it anyway now.

Here's a picture of just the pencil. I intentionally made the body slightly bulbous at the joint in the middle and at the clip end.
