snake skin

Is there a source where I can get the skin from. I have a lot of co workers that I could skin and make pens from but I think that is not legal.
I'm not into hunting and skining snakes but I would like to make the pens including the casting.

If you want the Prairie Rattlesnake Skins that most of the blanks are made from then here is where I buy all of my rattle snake skins.
