Smoke

Feeling sorry for the folks suffering through the wildfires. The loss of forests looks devastating. Wisconsin has some smoke and those of us with sinus and breathing issues have to be really careful. We do our walking in a big box store which can get expensive. Seems there's always something that catches my eye. If you live in a smoky area how are you coping? I sure feel sorry for our neighbor who works outside laying pipe. I shake my head at 82 as he smokes too. Been there, done that. Paying the price at 82.

It was high in Northern Ohio for several days. With several pulmonary conditions, I stayed inside mostly, but we have a large two story indoor mall where I can (and do) walk 4-5 times a week for an hr. A nice community recreation center, wife and I are very well able to deal with the weather and still be more active than in the past.

As a resident of the Pacific Northwest, I've learned to keep an air purifier going 24/7 in my place to help combat the smell and mild asthma triggers.

I have been staying inside. The smell was overpowering for a few days. I have a great view of Blue Mountain in PA from my deck. It vanished for 2 days.
